Maria Carlsson’s life has constantly alternated between two tracks.
One, an educational track, with work as a middle school teacher, music teacher, head of a cultural school, lecturer and principal. The other track, a cultural track, where she has dedicated herself to presenting and producing children’s concerts at the Concert Hall in Gothenburg, arranging music events through her own company, singing in the Gothenburg Symphony Choir and acting as a tour leader.
Maria is a trained middle school teacher and principal, but also an international cultural project manager.
Since 2012, Maria has been involved in El Sistema, by visiting Venezuela almost every year and by arranging cultural exchanges.
