After the success on the Frontside festival 2019 for the Walking Concerts, the 2020 Festival where making a significant leap across the river. With the help of Styrsöbolaget, the music landed on the Ostindiefararen Götheborg!
12:30 PM Klippan’s old ferry dock (near Fiskekrogen) Boarding on Styrsöbolaget’s ferry Älvsnabben 3
12:45 PM Departure towards Eriksberg. The first concert took place during the journey.
1:00 PM Arrival at Eriksberg. A short walk to Ostindiefararen Götheborg, Pier 4, where CEO and Captain Peter Alexandersson was welcoming the guests.
1:10 PM – 1:40 PM The audience was divided into two groups, each hearing two concerts on the Ostindiefararen Götheborg and in the Company’s meeting hall.
The audience then walked back to the ferry Älvsnabben for the return trip across the river. The final concert took place during the journey.
2:00 PM Arrival at Klippan’s old ferry dock.
Performers on the walking conserts were Hélène Boulègue, flute; Wu Wei, sheng; UmeDuo, cello & percussion; Çağatay Akyol, harp
Frontside has existed since 2019 and is largely driven by volunteer efforts, but we are highly dependent on additional financial sponsors and fundings. All contributions are used to engage fantastic musicians, rents of venues and all other things that make the festival a magical experience.

Our membership register contains information about names and addresses, in some cases also phone numbers and/or email addresses. The register is used only for sending out membership information. The association will not sell or otherwise share personal information with any other party. Upon leaving the association, the information will be deleted and will only remain in the records that we are required to keep for seven years according to accounting laws.
