Following the success of 2025, we look ahead to 2026 and our next chapter in the trilogy.
With the theme Follow the Stars, the festival will take place from January 15 to January 18, 2026, with Kronhuset as the festival’s shining star.
Inspired by sailors’ journeys and their reliance on the night sky, this year’s festival explores how stars symbolize light in darkness, guidance, and dreams.
Just as music can offer hope and foster human connection in uncertain times.
We are proud to announce that Swedish-Spanish composer Hara Alonso has written a piece for Frontside, which will have its world premiere with her on stage at the final concert on Sunday – an event not to be missed! Let Frontside take you towards the stars.

The tickets costs 170 kr for a late evening concert, 270 kr for an evening concert (except Sunday night’s final concert = 370 kr), 420 kr for the Walking concerts at Slottsskogsobservatoriet and Gathenhielmska including soup lunch, 440 kr for the Thursday evening concert at Universeum, 1.700 kr for a Festival Pass for adults. Young people can buy a bit cheaper tickets and children will attend the family concert on Sunday for free.
